About this design
A single-storey beach house of black battens and warm timber under one roof that rises to the street, opening to a deck by the sea. Designed in New Zealand Contemporary style: dark vertical cladding with cedar, a mono-pitch metal roof and living that opens to a deck.
Outside: vertical timber walls, a shed roof in standing-seam metal, plain glazing.
Inside: Walk-in robe (5 m²), Ensuite (7 m²), Store (7 m²), Laundry (8 m²), Bathroom (10 m²), Dining (14 m²), 2 × Bedroom (15 m² each), Kitchen (15 m²), Main bedroom (20 m²), Entrance hall (20 m²), Living room (22 m²), Study (25 m²), Garage (38 m²), Gallery (39 m²).
Features: deck, paved terrace.
